Sani-Tech® STHT®-80 High-Pressure Silicone Tubing overview

Uses 83 Shore A high-hardness platinum-cured silicone for high burst pressure, full vacuum, and low-pulsation transfer in fill-finish, PUPSIT, and high-viscosity fluid applications.

Can substantially increase burst pressure compared with conventional unbraided silicone tubing while offering cost efficiency for some reinforced-tubing applications

All sizes provide a vacuum rating greater than 29.9 inHg, and the high-clarity tube makes the fluid path easy to observe

Evaluate Sani-Tech® STHT®-80 High-Pressure Silicone Tubing against the actual process fluid, operating conditions, connections and sterilization method. Published limits are model- and size-dependent; confirm the current technical documents before specifying a component or complete fluid path.

Specification and selection

1. Confirm fluid compatibility, extractables, adsorption and particle requirements.
2. For pump use, specify the pump head, tubing size, speed, back pressure and run time.
3. Review material and hardness: Platinum-cured silicone, Shore A 83 (nominal).
4. Review burst pressure: Approximately 128-636 psi (8.8-43.8 bar), depending on size.
5. Review vacuum rating: > 29.9 inHg.
6. Provide the required quantity, delivery format and technical documentation for a quotation.
