Specification and selection
- Confirm fluid compatibility, extractables, adsorption and particle requirements.
- For pump use, specify the pump head, tubing size, speed, back pressure and run time.
- Review material and hardness: Non-DEHP thermoplastic material, Shore A 65.
- Review sterilization: Steam at 135°C for 30 minutes, EtO, or Gamma.
- Review typical applications: Drug delivery, diagnostic equipment, respiratory therapy, and peristaltic pumps.
