Versilon® SPD Single-Braid-Reinforced Silicone Hose overview

Single polyester-braid-reinforced silicone hose for sanitary fluid transfer where a small bend radius, higher pressure, and CIP / SIP processing are required.

Provides higher pressure ratings and better kink resistance than unreinforced silicone hose

Can be sterilized and steam treated and is suitable for CIP and SIP

Specification and selection

1. Confirm working pressure at temperature, vacuum, minimum bend radius and assembly safety factors.
2. Check the liner, reinforcement, static dissipation and available installation space.
3. Review construction: Silicone inner and outer layers + single polyester-braid reinforcement.
4. Review maximum recommended temperature: 177°C.
5. Review pressure: Varies with size; maximum working pressure approximately 10.7 bar.
6. Provide the required quantity, delivery format and technical documentation for a quotation.
